ROOM DESIGN CONTEST

This Room Design Contest is cordially inviting anyone who is interested in having their say in deciding who's needing a deserving room upgrade in their home by participating in our Home Design business SIMPLE AND MODERATE HOME DESIGNS, that was established early in 2006 in the Lorton VA area, now located in Culpeper Va. This contest I hope will help someone who is in need of having a home design dream come true for this coming New Year. And we just wanted to give someone this opportunity by making it happen for them. The contest will allow you to choose the most deserving home that is needed for a makeover. Also this contest will give all participants a chance to win a free makeover. There will be rooms that will be featured on our website starting early February 2009, and just by choosing and submitting your answers we will soon find out who the winner is going to be and allowing you to find out who received the most views and votes on their room. Again, you will also have this chance to win by participating and submitting your own room design not just for someone you know that may need one. All the rules of the contest and how to participate are below so lets go have some fun !!!

HOME

RULES and REGULATIONS

1. No more then 25 homes will be able to participate from the amount of entries that are submitted. (Example if 100 homes are entered only 25 will be used to participate. And out of 25 homes only 1 winner will be chosen).
2. Pictures submitted must be large enough to view and a small description written about this room.
3. All pictures must be clear. (Note: Emailed to me at our address Samhomedesigns@aol.com )
4. All emails with pictures must be submitted before the deadline.
5. Your room must be no larger then a 14 X 14 space, approximately (200 sq ft)
6. All participates must be willing to wait 1 to 2 weeks to have their room finished if the project in such case has a delay in the scheduled time to be able to participate in the contest.
7. Rooms must be free from any harmful agents or unwanted pest.
8. You must provide a home address, email address and phone number where you can be reached.
9. You must own your home or be able to get an approval from your landlord to have any work done in your home.
10. You must be at least 18 years or older to participate.
11. You must live in a safe neighorhood and we will have to be at your home a number of times to do work.
12. Work will be done on a suitable schedule that is agreed upon and between the business and the winner.
13. You will have to sign a waiver document stating you will not hold us liable for anything in your household that gets broke or damaged due to having items, materials or furniture where they are not appropriately placed or positioned while the project is in process.
14. Rooms will have to be partly cleared of any unnecessary clutter to be able to perform on the project.
15. We will not be responsible for buying any household furniture.
16. The home design will be valued between $2500 -$3000.
17. You must be willing to have your room featured as a before and after on our website.
18. Your address must be within a 30 -50 mile radius of zip code 22701.
19. The room design will consist of using materials such as new lighting, painting and some accessories to complete the project that will be furnished by our business.

RULES FOR THE WINNER

Incentives

You will have a choice of a Theme that is going to suit your taste and your personality. With a choice of colors and designs. But we do expect to be able to take pictures throughout the process and to publish your home design on our website after the process has been completed.

The Contest & Project Process

The winner will be announced on _______________ 2009. If we have a tie between two homes then the votes will go back out again. After we determine the winner, the project will start soon after we evaluate the room and get more information on what theme the winner is going to decide on. The project will have a 30 day waiting period from the time we announce the winner to the start of the project process.

Obligations

You are not under any obligation to keep this design any length of time after the project is finished.

Cancellations & Refunds

The winner and the business can at any time refuse this project due to any reason, but to give a notice of at least 10 days before the project is to be started for the sake of convenience and courtesy.
Since this opportunity was won as a contest and the project is furnished by the business, there is no refund of any items or materials brought by the winner to be refunded back to you if you are not completely satified with the home project.

Privacy Policy

We will not sell or use your name for any business use or by distributing your personal information to other businesses for offers or deals unless we have a written consent by you to do so. We are fully committed to protecting your privacy. If you no longer wish to be notified of any other further events through emails or mail with special offers from us, reply to any message we send to you with I NO LONGER WISH TO PARTICIPATE in the subject line.
